At Cedar Bay Grilling Company, we have the utmost concern and respect for our beautiful planet, and for the oceans that provide us with so much – including the product that is the basis of our business, on which we place great pride. As such, we source and procure all of our products – from our seafood products through to our packaging – from partners who share our sense of responsibility and our attitude about sustainability.

Our seafood is sourced through Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Certified organizations that demonstrate an ongoing, ethical approach to seafood farming, and who participate regularly in activities that give back to the resources from which our products are drawn.

Our primary packaging producer holds very high ethical standards, actively participating in the GRI initiative that assures best practises in environmentalism and sustainability. Cedar Bay boxboard packaging is made from 100% recycled materials, and printed with environmentally safe, recyclable inks and finishes.

The Cedar Bay manufacturing facility in Nova, Scotia has held a AA Certification with BRC for the past three years. BRC Global Standards is a trade association that monitors best practices for food and manufacturing industries world-wide. Their rigorous auditing process and exceptionally high standards make a AA rating a particular point of pride for the entire team at Cedar Bay.
